Cypress Bush Explorers ("we", "us") is a safari company based in Nakuru, Kenya. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal data in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect

• Enquiry and contact forms: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and anything you choose to tell us, such as the country you're travelling from, travel dates, number of guests and your message.
• Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
• When you book: the details needed to arrange your trip, for example passport names, dietary needs or health information relevant to your travel. We ask for these directly, not through this website.
• Technical data: our web server keeps short-term logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, plan and quote your safari, and, if you book, to make and manage your reservations. When you book, we share only what is necessary with the lodges, parks, airlines and transport providers involved in your trip. We never sell your personal information.

Where it is kept

Messages sent through this website are delivered to our email inbox and a copy is stored on our secure web server so that no enquiry is lost. Access is limited to our team. We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to plan and deliver your trip and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies and third parties

This website does not set its own cookies and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when the map loads. Links to WhatsApp open WhatsApp, which is run by Meta under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to us using it. To unsubscribe from our newsletter, reply to any email from us or write to us. Email info@cypressbushexplorers.com and we will respond within 30 days.
